SWHR Isis Fund Network on Sex Differences in
Cardiovascular Disease
June 2009 – Present
Mission Statement: Improve cardiovascular health by promoting interdisciplinary, and translational research that elucidates the mechanisms behind sex and gender differences in cardiovascular disease.
Thus far the Network has held meetings in June 2009, October 2009,
January 2010, and May 2010. They have meetings scheduled for August
2-3, 2010 in Minneapolis, MN and October 18-19, 2010 in Washington, DC.
