Annual Gala Dinner
For over 20 years, the Society for Women’s Health Research has worked to improve the health of women through advocacy, education and research. SWHR is widely recognized as the thought leader in sex-based research and its impact on health outcomes for women and men.
Annually, SWHR hosts a dinner attended by more than 700 individuals including Congressional Members and the Administration, as well as clinicians and researchers from federal agencies, academia, industry, and individuals interested in the advancement of women's health.
Additionally during the gala dinner, the annual $75,000 Society for Women’s Health Research Medtronic Prize for Scientific Contributions to women’s health is announced.
*Because the dinner is fully underwritten, all funds raised are used to support SWHR’s programs. The Society for Women's Health Research is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and contributions are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
