View race results.

More than 250 individuals, from top-flight athletes to health conscious
grandmothers, registered for the Society’s first ever 5K run and 1-mile walk
in Washington, D.C.

With a camera crew looking on, the race begins.

Sarah Spalding, the women’s second place finisher, streaks
to the finish line.

Wilson Komen (c), the men’s event winner, is flanked by
third place finisher Philippe Rolly (l) and fourth place finisher
Paolo Natali (r).

“Connect the Dots
...5K Run & 1-Mile Walk helped raise the profile
of the Society and the importance of recognizing health differences
between women and men.  Pictured in front of the event’s banner
are second place men’s finisher Aleksey Khokhlov (r) and third
place finisher Philippe Rolly (l).

From left to right, the women’s top three finishers, MaryKate Bailey,
Sarah Spalding, and Irina Suvorova, pose in front of the tent for
Fashion Time.  Fashion Time, a sponsor of the Society’s run,
provided watches to the top three male and female finishers.
